Project Overview
GenXEmpire helps creators and researchers study a YouTube channel without collecting every detail by hand. Users select videos, review channel and video data, and work with available transcripts, comments and publishing patterns. The product brings those findings into readable reports, with saved research, report comparison and downloads. My work covers the research workflow, dashboard and report experience.

01 · The Challenge
What needed to change?
Channel research often means switching between videos, notes and spreadsheets. It is easy to lose useful findings or mistake a small sample for a reliable pattern. The product needed to keep the evidence together and explain what it could and could not support.
02 · The Approach
How I built it
I brought channel selection, video research and reports into one workflow. Reports connect findings to the available evidence and make missing information clear. Saved reports let users revisit their research, while comparison, content-planning sections and exports help them use it outside the app.
About This Project
GenXEmpire is my own product, not commissioned client work. It brings research, saved reports and planning into one workspace. This page describes features documented in the project; the public app may differ from the latest local version. Research findings are not predictions of future views or earnings.

Common Questions
What is GenXEmpire used for?
It helps creators and researchers study YouTube channels and selected videos, review available evidence and organise findings into reports and content plans.
What information can a report include?
Reports can include channel and video metrics, available transcripts and comments, tags and observed publishing patterns. Missing source data is shown as unavailable rather than filled in with guesses.
Can users save and compare their research?
Yes. The documented product includes saved reports, comparison of two or three reports and a way to continue research from a saved channel. Older reports may not contain every newer report feature.
Can research be downloaded or used with an AI assistant?
The product includes report and research exports, plus prompts users can copy or download. Users choose what to share with an AI assistant; report content is not sent automatically.
Does the tool guarantee channel growth or earnings?
No. Reports describe the selected evidence and its limits. They do not guarantee future views, revenue or success in a niche.
