Website & Project Terms
How this website, free demos and agreed project work are approached.
Using this website
This portfolio presents my services, project examples and demonstrations. Please use the website responsibly and do not attempt to interfere with its operation.
Free homepage demo
A free demo is a homepage interface to help explain a proposed project. It may use the information you provide for that demo. If you decide not to proceed, I remove your details from the demo; an anonymized version may be kept as a portfolio example.
Scope and project materials
Before paid work starts, we discuss and agree on the project scope and price. You provide the information and materials needed for the work, such as project details, contact details, logos and images. Please make sure you have permission to supply and use those materials.
Payment and handover
After the project price and scope are agreed, 50% of the agreed price is due in advance before paid project work starts. The remaining 50% is due after the project is complete and checked, before handover. The project agreement can set out the payment method and other project-specific details.
Revisions and additional work
Before handover, revisions to the agreed project features are included until you are satisfied with the agreed work. Requests outside the agreed scope may involve an additional charge, which we will discuss before that work proceeds. The free demo is for discussing the project and is not covered by the paid-project revision commitment.
Portfolio and project examples
I may display public websites I have worked on in my portfolio without sharing private client information or confidential project details. Any agreed confidentiality restrictions continue to apply. Demos and concepts are labelled to show the kind of work they represent.
Content and external links
The portfolio includes my work and may show client or third-party names and assets for identification. Rights in third-party material remain with their respective owners. Links to external websites are provided for reference; those websites are managed separately.
Project agreements
An inquiry or a free demo does not by itself start a paid project. Project-specific scope, timing and other agreed terms should be confirmed directly before work begins.
